The night
was UNBELIEVABLE!! Highlights... Clive Gregson doing "Here
Comes The Sun" which fell in his lap by default when Henry
Gross had to cancel at the last minute. He got the audience to sing
along and they needed no coaxing... always a cool thing when that
happens because, of course, everyone in the audience (packed house)
grew up with that song - amazing! Pat played "Savoy Truffle"
from the White Album... complete with 3-piece horn section consisting
of Jim Hoke, baritone sax; Neal Rosengarden, valve trombone; and
Phil Kensey, tenor; who by the way played on the original 'All Things
Must Pass' album. Not to forget Tommy Meyer, drums; Kevin Hornback,
bass; and Tom Bukovac, guitar. Jeff sang "All Things Must Pass"
with the house band and Pat). It was the first song of the evening
with the horn section. It was really, really, cool...
