Biogs....

Prince of Wales Rattlers....

We are a male quartet. We play a variety of instruments, guitar ,fiddle, mandolin .mandola ,concertina etc. in the rendition of our songs but our forte is a cappella. Our repertoire ranges from 17C/18C catches through traditional folk to contemporary songs some written by us. We use folk as the medium through which we entertain. It’s rare, almost unknown, for us to give a performance without a laugh or two being produced. Over the last few years we have performed in larger venues than most folk clubs We have done cabaret, banquets, weddings, bar mitzvahs, funerals etc. but we are keen to get back to our roots. We do use PA but much prefer the smaller intimate atmosphere of the clubs. If you are interested in hearing about us from an independent source we appeared with “Little Johnny England” at Banbury Arts Centre just before Christmas. I’m sure the band or the management could tell you something. Barry or Simon Care who run the Moulton village festival near Northampton know us well. Should you wish to get in touch my number and e-mail is at the top. Our fixer is also available he’s Clive Fletcher 01604 646050
