New comment on your video Chris Tobin sings - That’s All (Alan Brandt, Bob Haymes)

I've heard plenty versions of this song, and I can say without a doubt yours is the greatest!. I would love you recorded a full version of this.

Just heard "Your Life" for the first time today. A great tribute. Why is this song not viral already? I'd also like to say your cover of "Whispering Grass" is one of the best there has been for years. Thanks, Chris, for the happiness these two songs brought into my life. You have some unique talent there, without doubt.

Chris , can't stop listening to this song. It's superb, brilliant and your voice is unbelievable.Wishing you all the luck in the world mate as this sort of talent needs to be appreciated by the Music Industry in general without having to prance about on a stage and being judged by people who really don't know what their talking about.

From a young artist to (and I hope he will not take offence) a more seasoned performer, Chris Tobin with one of the most fun filled sets I have seen for a while which included plenty of audience participation and a very unusual set list which included Johnny Ray’s ‘Just Walking in the Rain’, rare Bobby Darin B side ‘Jailer Bring Me Water’ and most unusual of all ‘The Trail of the Lonesome Pine’ made famous by Laurel and Hardy. I must also mention his original composition and very moving personal tribute to John Lennon 'Your Life'.
Chris worked the audience exceptionally well, has a warm rich voice, his set was very entertaining and he really got the audience involved (even had a sing-a-long myself).

Hello Chris,

I seen a few of your videos on youtube and I must say that you have a great singing voice and are an awesome guitar player. I just wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed your beautiful rendition of Buddy Holly’s song *True Love Ways. It was phenomenal! J I was wondering if you had the guitar arrangement in a tablature format or chords? If so, would you mind emailing me a copy of the guitar arrangement, so I can learn to play it the way you do? If not, that’s ok too. Never hurts to ask, right, lol! Anyway, keep on playing great guitar and singing good songs!

Keep on rockin’

Subject: your Youtube 'Blue Skies'
Hello Chris,
Since I was unable to log in to Youtube to comment on your video of 'Blue Skies', I thought I would try this way. Having watched/listened at least 5 or 6 times (perhaps more!), I felt impelled to tell you how rich your work is, both instrumentally and vocally. Having first heard Willie Nelson and Larry King sing it a capella, I listened to a few versions by Willie and others. Yours, which I just discovered, is far superior and certainly the one that will stick with me. In fact, I have begun to learn it on guitar (the Dm key is a nice touch and there are some progressions that reminded me of that old Beatle cover of 'Til there was you').

A few of your other videos confirmed something more important ('Ain't Misbehavin' and the one performed on the fence overlooking the English countryside) - the sheer joy that pervades your music...and your life! Anyway, this is a long and roundabout way of saying thank you for rich and generous efforts. They will, I am sure, provide blue skies to many.
best wishes,
Brian (Montreal)
